From 26 October 2026, Air Astana will operate Almaty–Sharm el-Sheikh flights on an Airbus A321LR. This was reported by AeroRoutes and also published by aeroTelegraph.
According to AeroRoutes, flights KC553 and KC554 will operate once a week, on Mondays, at first, and from 3 December 2026 twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. Tickets for Air Astana's Monday flights from Almaty to Sharm el-Sheikh are already on sale on Aviasales.
This is the seasonal return of the route: according to ZborDirect and Euroavia, Air Astana operated Almaty–Sharm el-Sheikh in spring and summer 2026.
