Air Astana Group closed the 2026 summer season with an on-time performance (OTP) rate of 86% — 12.5 percentage points higher than the same period a year earlier.
According to EUROCONTROL data, the group's OTP for June–July 2026 was 16% higher than the average for European carriers. By international standards, an OTP above 80% is considered a high level of operational efficiency.
Air Astana Group CEO Ibrahim Canliel called the result "top-class" and thanked operational and supporting teams. Director of Operations Control Sergey Khaldeyev attributed the outcome to planning, execution, and investment in customer service.
The company did not disclose its measurement methodology — specifically which delay threshold was used, or whether the figure covers the group's full network or specific hubs.
