Uzbek carrier Centrum Air marked the launch of its Hyderabad–Tashkent service on 8 September at an event at The Leela, Hyderabad. Regular flights will begin on 28 September 2026.
Flights will operate twice weekly on an Airbus A320neo: Tashkent to Hyderabad on Mondays and Thursdays, departing 21:30 and arriving 02:20 the following day; the return, Hyderabad to Tashkent, on Tuesdays and Fridays, departing 03:35 and arriving 07:45.
Hyderabad becomes Centrum Air's second destination in India after Delhi — with the new route, the airline reaches seven weekly flights from India (five from Delhi, two from Hyderabad), a milestone achieved less than a year after entering the Indian market.
The Hyderabad event brought together representatives from the Embassy of Uzbekistan, Uzbekistan's Tourism Committee, Centrum Air, and distribution partner Aeroprime Group. Centrum Air's Head of Agents Division, Adil Mirza, called the launch an important milestone in the airline's international expansion, while Aeroprime Group CEO Abhishek Goyal noted Hyderabad's strong potential across tourism, business, and student travel segments.
Through Centrum Air's Tashkent hub, passengers gain convenient onward connections across Central Asia, the CIS, the Middle East, and Europe.
