Uzbek carrier Centrum Air has closed bookings on the Tashkent–Kittilä (Finland) route, which had been scheduled as a one-off holiday-season service. The route was planned to operate once weekly, on Saturdays, from 26 December 2026 to 9 January 2027, using Airbus A320 aircraft.
Under the previously published schedule, flight C6155 departed Tashkent at 11:50, arriving Kittilä at 14:30 local time; the return service, C6156, departed Kittilä at 16:00, arriving Tashkent at 00:20 the following day.
Kittilä is a resort town in Finnish Lapland, known for the northern lights, ski tourism, and its positioning in the region's tourism marketing as the "official residence" of Santa Claus. The route represented a narrow niche product tied to specific New Year holiday dates.
Notably, the route was pulled before actual operations began — meaning the demand signal came at the booking stage rather than from the performance of early flights. That distinguishes it from Centrum Air's parallel decision to revive Tashkent–Hambantota (Sri Lanka) service in the same winter season: that route already has an operating history and a demonstrated tourist flow behind it, while Kittilä remained an experiment that never reached launch.
