Centrum Holding prepares for London IPO in early 2027 at $2 billion valuation

Centrum Holding, the Uzbek logistics group behind passenger carrier Centrum Air and cargo airline My Freighter, is preparing for an IPO on the London Stock Exchange in the first quarter of 2027.

Founder and CEO Abdulaziz Abdurakhmonov said: "We must conduct an IPO in the first quarter of 2027. Our holding is valued at 2 billion dollars." Oppenheimer and Citibank are acting as underwriters, having signed agreements in February 2026. The company expects to raise approximately $600 million, selling around 30% of shares.

Financials: 2025 revenue reached $1 billion, with a workforce of roughly 5,000. The company's export target for 2026 is $1 billion.

The holding's fleet is expanding rapidly: from around 30 aircraft (cargo and passenger combined) currently, to 40 by end of 2026, 65 by end of 2027, and 100 by end of 2029. Contracts for additional aircraft have already been signed (reported as 50+ or 75 depending on the source). Planned investment for 2026-2027 exceeds $100 million.

According to the holding, Centrum controls more than 40% of Uzbekistan's air cargo market and up to 30% of the passenger aviation market, positioning itself as Central Asia's leading cargo carrier.

For B2B audiences: this would be the first confirmed IPO by a Central Asian aviation holding on a major international exchange. For investors, it's a rare pre-listing entry point into the region's growth story; for MRO providers, lessors and suppliers, it signals upcoming tenders tied to one of the region's most aggressive fleet growth plans — tripling from 30 to 100 aircraft in three years.
