German distribution specialist Hahnair has announced that FlyArystan — Kazakhstan's low-cost carrier and a wholly owned subsidiary of Air Astana Group — has joined its network of more than 350 partner airlines.
FlyArystan flights are now available in major global distribution systems (GDSs) under the X1 code, allowing travel agents in over 190 markets to book and issue tickets on the insolvency-safe HR-169 document using their standard GDS reservation and ticketing process.
FlyArystan operates domestic, international, and charter flights from its bases in Almaty, Astana, and Aktau, connecting Kazakhstan with destinations across Central Asia, the Caucasus, Turkey, China, and the Middle East.
According to Hahnair's official partner carrier list, other regional airlines are already part of the network — Air Astana, Somon Air, SCAT Airlines, Uzbekistan Airways, Turkmenistan Airlines, Avia Traffic Company, Qanot Sharq, and Vietjet Qazaqstan — under the HR169 or H1 codes. FlyArystan's addition extends the region's low-cost carriers' presence in global distribution.
