FlyArystan will resume direct flights on the Aktau–Yerevan route from 16 December 2026, the airline's press service said. The service will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Fridays, using an Airbus A320.
On Wednesdays, flights will depart Aktau at 12:35 and arrive in Yerevan at 13:20; the return flight will leave at 14:20 and land in Aktau at 17:00. On Fridays, flights will depart Aktau at 9:00 and arrive in Yerevan at 9:40; the return service will leave at 10:40 and land in Aktau at 13:15. All times are local.
This is not the carrier's first attempt at the route. FlyArystan first launched flights to Yerevan in 2022 and briefly operated Aktau–Yerevan in 2023 before suspending the service. December's relaunch marks a repeat effort to sustain demand on a city pair that hasn't held up before.
The resumption gives residents of western Kazakhstan a connection-free option for travel to Armenia. Yerevan also offers direct flights to several European cities, giving the route added transit value beyond direct point-to-point demand.
