Kazakhstan is expanding international air connectivity with Türkiye and the UAE, as several carriers simultaneously add frequency and new routes in October.
Turkish carrier SunExpress is launching Astana–Izmir service twice weekly, on Wednesdays and Saturdays, using Boeing 737 aircraft, while also increasing frequency on its existing Almaty–Izmir route.
Air Astana is resuming Almaty–Dubai (from October 1) and Astana–Dubai (from October 2) services, with frequency rising through the month: Almaty–Dubai from 4 to 12 weekly flights, and Astana–Dubai from 3 to 10. By the end of October, up to 22 weekly flights will connect the two Kazakh cities with Dubai combined.
FlyDubai is launching a weekly cargo-only charter on the Almaty–Dubai route from October 2, using a Boeing 737 — an expansion aimed at strengthening trade and logistics links between Kazakhstan and the UAE.
Air Astana noted that its schedule may be adjusted depending on developments in the Middle East.
