Uzbek cargo airline My Freighter, part of Centrum Holding, said in a LinkedIn post that the UK Department for Transport has designated it an ACC3 carrier. The status confirms that the airline's cargo security procedures meet UK aviation security requirements. The company called it an important milestone in connecting East and West.
According to My Freighter, it can now officially carry cargo from Tashkent to the United Kingdom. Flights are reported to start soon, with the schedule to be announced later. The UK destination airport, the date the status was granted and the date of the first flight have not been named.
A carrier bringing cargo or mail into the United Kingdom from a number of non-EU countries must hold ACC3 status for each last-departure airport. My Freighter's main hub is Tashkent International Airport. Its fleet consists of ten Boeing 767Fs and one Boeing 757-200F. Current routes include Hong Kong to Maastricht via Tashkent, flights between Asia and Frankfurt, and additional frequencies to Liege.
Our assessment: ACC3 status opens the legal possibility of direct cargo flights from Tashkent to the United Kingdom, but until a schedule is announced it is an approval, not a route. For freight forwarders and e-commerce operators it is a chance for a direct link without transshipment in the EU. This is flycentralasia's conclusion, not a statement by the company.
