Pegasus to fly from Istanbul to Bukhara, Andijan and Termez: schedule, aircraft and what comes next

Turkish low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines has announced flights from Istanbul to three cities in Uzbekistan. The carrier announced it on 28 October 2026, and Uzbekistan Airports gave the weekday schedule on 29 October. The flights will operate from Sabiha Gökçen airport, one of Pegasus's main hubs, on Airbus A320 and A321 family aircraft. Ticket sales are open.

Schedule

  • Istanbul–Bukhara: from 14 December 2026, three times a week. From Istanbul on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays, returning on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Sundays.
  • Istanbul–Andijan: from 18 December 2026, twice a week. From Istanbul on Mondays and Fridays, from Andijan on Tuesdays and Saturdays.
  • Istanbul–Termez: from 1 March 2027, three times a week. From Istanbul on Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays, returning on Tuesdays, Fridays and Sundays.

Fares and conditions

The advertised fare from Istanbul starts at USD 99 (EUR 89.99 including taxes). The price depends on the route, date and seat availability. The cheapest international Light fare does not include checked baggage or a standard cabin bag: only one small item up to 3 kg, no larger than 40 by 30 by 15 cm and fitting under the seat, is allowed free. Additional baggage is paid separately.

Permit

According to the register of Uzbekistan's Civil Aviation Agency, Pegasus received an operating permit for passenger flights on 6 October 2026. We did not check the register directly.

What comes next

According to Uzbekistan Airports, the carrier is discussing flights from Istanbul to Karshi and Nukus as well. No decision has been made on these routes. It is also reported that Air Arabia plans direct flights to three cities in Uzbekistan.

What has not been announced

Departure and arrival times, flight numbers, fares for each route and the number of seats at the USD 99 fare. It is not explained why Termez starts later than Bukhara and Andijan. No flights to Tashkent have been reported.

Our assessment: Pegasus connects Bukhara, Andijan and Termez to Istanbul directly, bypassing Tashkent, and this changes the logic of regional markets: from these cities there is a choice not only to Istanbul but onward through the carrier's network. But three flights a week to Bukhara and two to Andijan mean small capacity, and sales over the winter will show how durable the routes are. This is flycentralasia's conclusion, not a statement by Pegasus or Uzbekistan Airports.

What businesses can do. Tour operators and agencies can recalculate programmes for Bukhara, Andijan and Termez in view of direct flights and weekdays. Regional airports can assess ground-handling load on flight days. Uzbek carriers can account for competition on the Istanbul route from the regions. Hotel operators can prepare offers for the inbound flow.
