Russian low-cost carrier Pobeda (part of the Aeroflot Group) plans to launch flights to Andijan by spring 2027, CEO Dmitry Tyshchuk said in an interview covering the airline's current performance and plans.
According to Tyshchuk, Pobeda added flights to four Central Asian cities in 2026 — Nukus, Termez, and Fergana in Uzbekistan, plus Osh in Kyrgyzstan. He called the region "a very suitable market for the low-cost model" that is "developing steadily." In the first half of 2026, Pobeda's passenger traffic to Central Asia grew by roughly 15%.
Andijan would become the fifth Uzbek city in Pobeda's network, following earlier launches to Tashkent, Samarkand, Nukus, Termez, and Fergana.
In the same interview, Tyshchuk said aircraft shortages are constraining the airline's growth — due to sanctions, Pobeda cannot settle directly with foreign partners and relies on financial agents and intermediary companies.
The launch date for Andijan flights, frequency, and aircraft type have not yet been announced.
