Kazakhstan's largest private carrier, SCAT Airlines, has begun implementing Sabre Mosaic Network Planning, a platform that allows airlines to manage and optimize network scheduling based on demand forecasting, improving fleet utilization. A representative of the US-based technology provider Sabre reported the development on social media.
This marks an extension of an existing partnership rather than the start of a new vendor relationship. In 2021, SCAT Airlines migrated to Sabre's SabreSonic passenger reservations system and simultaneously adopted the Sabre Commercial Platform to manage ticket sales and ancillary services.
The network planning module fits the airline's growth pace: in the 2026 summer season alone, SCAT added seven new routes from Shymkent. A tool that allocates capacity based on real demand signals, rather than manual route-by-route judgment, becomes more valuable as a network grows in scale and complexity.
