Tajik carrier Shohin Airlines is receiving a new Let L-410NG turboprop aircraft. According to Flightradar24 data, on September 24, 2026, the aircraft — currently registered OK-NGR in the Czech Republic and set to be re-registered as EY-400 in Tajikistan — is completing a ferry flight along the route Kunovice (Aircraft Industries factory, Czech Republic) – Burgas – Ganja – Urgench – Dushanbe.
The acquisition agreement was signed in April 2026. As reported by Asia-Plus and the Tajik Air Navigation Enterprise (airnav.tj) on April 1, 2026, Shohin Airlines CEO Zafar Ahmadzoda said the new aircraft supports the company's fleet development strategy and its commitment to improving passenger service. The L-410NG is intended for domestic and regional routes, offering improved fuel efficiency and extended range.
This delivery is unrelated to Shohin Airlines' previously announced order for four Airbus A320neo/A321neo aircraft (announced in July 2026 at the Farnborough Airshow) — that is a separate, narrowbody jet program.
