Tajikistan and UAE to Expand Air Links as Parliament Reviews Agreement Ratification

On October 1, the Assembly of Representatives of Tajikistan's Supreme Assembly (Majlisi Oli) reviewed the ratification of an air services agreement between the governments of Tajikistan and the United Arab Emirates, the press office of Tajikistan's Civil Aviation Agency reported.

During the discussion, Civil Aviation Agency director Nazarzoda Habibullo presented information on the agreement's significance for developing aviation cooperation between the two countries.

The agreement was signed on July 17, 2025, in Dushanbe. It establishes the legal basis for increasing the number of flights, opening new air routes, and expanding the geography of flights between Tajikistan and the UAE.

Implementation of the agreement is also aimed at developing the tourism sector, strengthening economic and trade ties, and expanding travel opportunities for citizens of both countries.
