Uzbekistan Airports held a meeting with representatives of two Chinese cargo carriers — Jiangxi International Cargo Airlines and Beijing Capital Airlines — regarding the launch of Tashkent–Nanjing cargo flights, Trend.az reports.
Under preliminary plans, cargo flights could begin on 12 October 2026, operating three times weekly on Airbus A330 freighter aircraft.
The sides discussed the commercial and operational matters required to launch the route: airport, ground, and warehouse handling, refueling, and preparing the corresponding infrastructure and personnel.
Which of the two carriers under consideration will operate the route, the exact date of any commercial agreement signing, and planned cargo volumes have not been disclosed in open sources at time of publication — this remains at the preliminary talks stage, not a confirmed flight launch.
