Uzbekistan Airways increases Phu Quoc frequency to twice weekly

Uzbekistan Airways is preparing for the 2026 autumn-winter navigation season on its resort route to Phu Quoc, Vietnam. The airline's delegation held a productive meeting with the leadership of Phu Quoc International Airport, focused on deepening bilateral interaction and comprehensively preparing the airport to serve the carrier's flights in the upcoming period.

The national carrier has successfully operated flights to this popular resort island since 2022. In response to sustained high traveler interest in the destination, frequency increases from November: flights to Phu Quoc will be operated twice a week.

The route's development is supported by the airport's own impressive growth: in just the first eight months of this year, Phu Quoc served 5.4 million passengers, with a record milestone of 8 million expected by year's end. To match growing demand and global standards, the airport is implementing large-scale infrastructure projects — construction of Terminal Two, a new runway, and a modern Very Important Person terminal, all currently in an active phase.

The synergy with such a dynamically developing partner allows Uzbekistan Airways to guarantee the highest level of comfort, service, and safety at every stage of its passengers' journey.
